About the role

  • Director HRIS managing HR technology ecosystem at Candescent. Oversee Workday integration and implement HRIS strategies in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and execution of our HR technology ecosystem, with Workday at its core.
  • Build and execute an HRIS roadmap, integrate Workday with other platforms, and deliver reporting that drives data-informed decisions.
  • Develop and implement a multi-year HRIS roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiency through automation.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of HR systems in collaboration with HR leadership and IT teams, including HRIS, ATS, LMS, and other platforms.
  • Oversee configuration, optimization, and governance of Workday across all modules.
  • Manage integrations with payroll, benefits, ATS, and ERP systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and security across platforms.
  • Design and maintain effective data governance processes across HR systems.
  • Build dashboards and advanced reporting for leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through technology.
  • Manage relationships with HR technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 2–3 HRIS analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7–10 years in HR technology or HRIS roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Proficiency in Workday and other HR platforms (ATS, LMS).
  • Strong understanding of data management and analytics.
  • High-growth or startup environment experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PMP, or Workday certifications are a plus.
