About the role
- Investment Specialist at Financial Horizons processing investment transactions and trades. Ensuring timely and accurate application handling with some autonomy in work completion.
Responsibilities
- Full scrubbing of received applications ensuring that SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met
- Communicates with advisors to obtain missing information and/or signatures required on investment applications
- Application entry into the WealthServ system
- Ensuring adherence to process to mitigate required LOI’s
- Email wire order confirmation for application submission
- Completes transactions and trades on WealthServ system
- Transfer follow ups – ongoing updates to ensure current data is captured in the WealthServ system
- Retrieve and respond to incoming email inquiries and requests
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the insurance and financial services industry
- Possesses specialized knowledge of investment products, specifically Segregated Funds
- Proven experience in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of WealthServ an asset
- Completion of Post-Secondary School, or equivalent.
