Responsibilities
Support a block of in-force large and/or complex Group Benefits clients
Develop and maintain relationships with consultants
Lead the sales process from request for proposal to finalist presentation
Perform all duties related to the management of accounts assigned
Solve problems related to unusual or delicate claims
Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal partners
Work collaboratively to ensure customer service needs are exceeded
Promote additional products and services to enhance client retention
Achieve annual sales, persistency, in-force growth, profit and other targets
Requirements
5+ years of group insurance experience
Thorough knowledge of group life insurance, healthcare insurance, disability insurance, and underwriting
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
Excellent mathematical skills
Ability to act quickly and put forward innovative solutions
Ability to work in a fast-evolving environment and adapt to growth and change
Strong sales and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Valid driver’s license and vehicle
Designation of C.A.A.S., GBA, or CEBS is a significant asset
Undergraduate diploma or equivalent
