Responsibilities
Ensure the operational management of buildings and their equipment
Guarantee safety, regulatory compliance and technical performance of the built estate
Oversee building maintenance
Ensure the daily proper functioning of 57 community buildings
Organize and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance across all trades
Analyze work requests and assess their technical feasibility
Conduct diagnostics and define intervention methods
Plan interventions taking priorities and emergencies into account
Monitor interventions using the MAINTI maintenance tracking software
Inspect the quality of completed works and services
Participate in safety committees and monitor regulatory inspections
Ensure compliance of maintenance contracts
Ensure conformity with ERP/ERT standards, fire safety regulations and accessibility rules
Supervise and lead a team of 6 technical staff
Plan and organize the activity of the technical unit
Contribute to budget preparation
Requirements
High school diploma to two-year post-secondary qualification (BAC to BAC+2) in building trades (TCE/all trades) or civil engineering
Desirable knowledge of the operation of local authorities and public procurement
Solid knowledge of technical standards and regulatory monitoring of installations
Knowledge of workplace hygiene, safety and ergonomics rules
Proficiency with ERP/ERT regulations, fire safety and accessibility requirements
Mastery of preventive and corrective maintenance principles
Comfortable with office tools (Word, Excel) and work-tracking software
Ability to establish reliable diagnostics for malfunctions across different building trades
Ability to prioritize and define urgencies while ensuring the safety of people and property
Ability to adapt and plan human and technical resources
Experience in leading and supervising a technical team
Ability to unite a team, work cross-functionally and report to management
Valid Category B driving licence required
