About the role

  • Manager HR Portfolio leading HR initiatives for organizational culture and process optimization. Collaborating with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic goals are met.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the approach to our portfolio of HR initiatives aimed at optimizing our human resources processes, systems, and organizational culture.
  • Work closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with our strategic goals.
  • Help deliver against our HR transformation goals and will effectively tell the story of the impact of HR through KPI tracking, budget trends, and ROI development.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables that align with organizational goals.
  • Translate business and HR strategies into strategic initiatives, while staying connected to external trends that could inform our future HR Portfolio.
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels to inform and engage appropriate stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all resources are effectively allocated.
  • Define the project intake and governance processes.
  • Manage all aspects of a project life cycle, coordinating with vendors, internal associates, and other business units to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Manage and monitor project progress, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings with stakeholders leveraging a portfolio summary, providing updates and gathering feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze, visualize, and present data and metrics to assess effectiveness/project outcomes and drive future enhancements; create reports to support strategic objectives.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with industry best practices in HR management.
  • Seek opportunities to improve productivity, cost containment and project performance.
  • Anticipate and manage the impact of the project on the organization's culture and structure.
  • Leverage the ADKAR model and partner with communications to support change adoption.
  • Partner with associate listening team, as appropriate, to measure the change process.
  • Ensure effective communication and engagement across all levels of the organization to support change management initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage the HR department’s annual budget in partnership with Finance.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure alignment between HR programs and financial resources.
  • Track and analyze HR expenses, identifying cost-saving and/or investment opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports to HR leadership and other key stakeholders on budget performance/financial summaries and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources management, business, or finance; PMP a plus
  • 1 to 3 years of project/program management
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources or Management Consulting
  • Ability to manage multiple projects for large initiatives, including projects involving external vendors and multiple business areas
  • Proficient using SharePoint, MS Project or other software for project and task management
  • An ability to articulate complex problems and execute solutions in a simple and logical manner to influence strategic business decisions
  • Comfort with a high degree of autonomy and ambiguity, and demonstrated ability in managing priorities from multiple internal and external partners
  • Excellent problem-solving analytical capabilities with strong attention to detail - ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations
  • Experience leveraging data to influence decision making outcomes with ability to tell the story using data
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
  • Demonstrated behavior of continuously striving to provide superior service and exceptional customer experience
  • Ability to build relationships and quickly earn the trust of leaders, partners, key stakeholders, and collaborators.
  • Demonstrated comfort in partnering with others to execute initiatives and engage with the business as needed.
