About the role
- Electrical Design Verification Engineer reviewing electrical designs for oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi. Ensuring compliance with international codes and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify Electrical Design Basis and design philosophies for oil & gas projects
- Conduct design reviews of electrical power generation and distribution systems (HV, MV, LV)
- Review specifications for UPS systems, motor specifications, and electrical layouts
- Perform compliance checks against international standards and project-specific standards
- Assess and review inter-disciplinary design checks and participate in vendor document reviews
Requirements
- B Tech/BE/M Tech/MS in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience with reputable international EPC Contractors
- 8 years of core design experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical projects
- Design and Engineering knowledge
- Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, API, NFPA, NEC, BS EN, and CAP standards
- Experience with clients like ADNOC, Shell, and TOTAL is appreciated
