About the role

• Concepteur responsable de la conception de structures et systèmes pour un programme aéronautique chez Sogeclair. Participer à l'industrialisation et à la conformité aux exigences techniques.

Responsibilities

• **THE TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM 🎯**
• Ensure that the design of the primary structure, secondary structures and system installations within your scope complies with technical requirements.
• Participate in the design of the primary structure, secondary structures and system installations.
• Make technical decisions regarding the design, manufacturing, installation and verification of parts and assemblies.
• Develop and validate test plans with laboratories. Review test reports and analyze results.
• Prepare key technical deliverables and ensure technical deliverables comply with company and customer requirements.
• Deliver part drawings and installation drawings, meeting delivery commitments for time and quality to customers.
• Provide visibility on the technical scope to your management and the program team.
• Participate in the analysis and implementation of changes with the program, supply chain, production and customers.
• Prepare impact analyses for the incorporation of changes.
• Act as the technical interface between the customer and suppliers.
• Support the resolution of part non-conformities and assembly line issues.

Requirements

• ***Specific Requirements***
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in aerostructure design.
• Knowledge of metallic and composite primary structure design (an asset), secondary structures and system installations.
• Knowledge of aerospace design processes and methods.
• Strong proficiency in CATIA V5 and ENOVIA.
• Experience in the design and manufacture of sheet-metal and machined parts.
• Experience in the design and manufacture of composite parts would be an asset.
• Experience with MRB design would be an asset.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and requirements related to the fabrication of primary and secondary structures.
• Knowledge of configuration management rules.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management or as an integrator.
• Knowledge/awareness of tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
