About the role

  • Chemical Analyst responsible for water chemistry analysis and compliance with standards in power plant. Conduct tests and collaborate with the team to enhance water treatment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct water chemistry analysis for power plant operations
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments
  • Ensure compliance with EPRI/ASME standards
  • Document and report findings to management
  • Collaborate with team to improve water treatment processes

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in power plant laboratory or industrial water treatment.
  • Knowledgeable in water chemistry analysis: boiler water, cooling water, condensate, raw water, and wastewater.
  • Skilled in using laboratory instruments (spectrophotometer, titrations, conductivity meter, silica analyzer, etc.).
  • Understanding of EPRI/ASME water chemistry standards for power plants.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
