About the role
- Agile Program Manager guiding software product development efforts at Broadcom Inc. Ensuring collaboration between Product Management, Engineering, and User Experience for high value solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support, facilitate and guide the software product development efforts of the organization or value stream
- Define the Agile Planning process for their value stream and ensure that the process is followed
- Schedule and facilitate the key planning meetings to determine upcoming software product development plans
- Organize Executive Reviews for their organization or value stream
- Track work item progress and completion for timely delivery of software products and solutions
- Hold scrum teams accountable for their commitments and deliverables
- Manage risks, changes, dependencies and issues for key deliverables
- Run Agile Retrospectives for continuous improvement of Agile Project Management practices
- Collaborate closely with the Agile Coach to promote Agile principles, practices and behaviors
- Bring the organization leadership team together to address issues inhibiting success
- Coordinate activities and checklists for successful software product or solution deployments
Requirements
- A four-year degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or other relevant degree
- 10+ years of related experience
- Agile Project or Agile Program Management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of the software development life cycle
- Experience with leadership by Influence
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Broadcom Rally Application Lifecycle Management and Broadcom Clarity Project and Portfolio Management Software knowledge is a plus
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent preferred
- Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification preferred
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
- Agile Certification (PMI-ACP) / Scrum Master (CSM) Certification Preferred
