About the role
- Financial Analyst managing accounts payable for Brazil's largest sports supplementation industry. Ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial processes and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the accounts payable process, ensuring documentation validation and compliance with established deadlines;
- Receive and verify documents (invoices/Notas Fiscais, bank statements, etc.), schedule, record in the system and monitor due dates;
- Update bank balances, reconciling them with the volume of payments to be made based on daily statements;
- Perform bank reconciliations for paid accounts, verifying debits against corresponding ledger entries;
- Ensure payments are not processed incorrectly, monitoring credits for returned merchandise;
- Monitor and reconcile international payments, update cash flow reports and support accounting in calculating foreign exchange variations;
- Control and oversee the import process, ensuring correct payment and customs clearance;
- Keep the Cash Cycle spreadsheet up to date to ensure better financial planning, as well as the supplier position report with information on balances and advances, and control provisions related to sponsorship contracts;
- Ensure proper use of the petty cash fund for emergency payments.
Requirements

- Proven experience in a mid-level (pleno) role to handle the pace and dynamics of the area
- Bachelor's degree completed in a related field
- Postgraduate degree will be a plus
- Experience with Protheus (mandatory).
