About the role

  • Account Director leading social-first and influencer campaigns for clients. Overseeing project execution, team management, and client strategy in a hybrid agency environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication and delivery.
  • Translate strategic direction into actionable campaign plans and timelines.
  • Support AMs/ Lead campaign kick-offs, manage day-to-day execution, and ensure alignment with KPIs.
  • Support AM’s to deliver post-campaign analysis and insights to inform future work.
  • Set-up and oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of influencer and social campaigns.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, to a high creative standard and aligned with KPIs.
  • Collaborate with paid social specialists, strategy and creative teams to develop integrated strategies.
  • Work with ACD/CD to ensure creative excellence and quality control across all client deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Creative, Paid Media, Strategy, Production) to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Maintain clear documentation including schedules, WIPs, and reporting.
  • Manage and mentor a team of 3–5 Account Managers and Executives.
  • Lead resource planning requirements, workload management, and team development.
  • Onboard new team members with client knowledge, strategic frameworks, and processes.
  • Accurately forecast revenue and campaign performance.
  • Identify and prioritize new business opportunities and lead pitch development and scoping.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and minimize internal review cycles.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years’ experience as an Account Director or Senior Account Manager in a social or creative agency.
  • Proven experience managing UK/EMEA client accounts and delivering social-first campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of influencer marketing, paid social, and organic content strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Proficient in social agency project management tools including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, social media scheduling tools and knowledge of influencer tools.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
