About the role

  • Project analyst responsible for planning and monitoring financial and administrative projects at BP. Involved in risk identification and project support activities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, scope, and quality are met in accordance with existing methodologies, best practices, and workflows.
  • Provide support to the project coordinator.
  • Assist in preparing schedules, action plans, budgets, and project scopes.
  • Monitor and control project progress, tracking performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and present reports for management.
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation plans.
  • Organize follow-up meetings and maintain communication among areas involved in the project.
  • Assist in standardizing processes and continuously improving the project methodology.
  • Use project management tools to track physical and financial progress.
  • Ensure alignment between project objectives and organizational strategy.
  • Provide effective support for internal and external requests, including preparation of analytical reports, presentations, and supporting materials for decision-making.
  • Safeguard the activities and routines of the Project Management Office, supporting other team members in areas under their responsibility.
  • Assist in training users on project management tools and strategic indicators.

Requirements

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related fields.
  • KNOWLEDGE: Mandatory: MS Office suite. Desired: Basic English.
  • CERTIFICATIONS: Certifications and/or courses related to Project Management methodologies. Desired: Certification in improvement and quality methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Knowledge of MS Project.
  • Knowledge of process mapping.
  • EXPERIENCE: Solid experience in administrative roles, with experience in contract and procurement management, and experience in financial or project management. Experience in monitoring financial execution is required.
