Responsibilities
Manage and direct the activities and day-to-day operations for eligibility, support staff, and lead workers who are part of the Virtual Eligibility Center (VEC) team.
Perform administrative functions to carry out objectives and goals of the department.
Monitor and analyze local office effectiveness in policy implementation and application.
Facilitate communication of program issues between department staff, community partners, and central office.
Ensure staff have a clear understanding of these goals and values; hold self and staff accountable for instilling these values into everyday actions.
Requirements
Four (4) years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR one (1) year of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience fostering a learning culture and taking ownership of decisions and outcomes.
Experience leading confidently through organizational, technological, and procedural change.
Experience building strong, trusting relationships across teams through clear and consistent communication.
Experience balancing empathy with decisiveness to set expectations and align teams.
