About the role

  • Senior Incentives Analyst providing program coordination and analytical support for Oregon's Grid Resilience program. Engaging with stakeholders and ensuring compliance for federally funded initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide program coordination, analytical support, and stakeholder engagement for the agency’s Grid Resilience program and related federally and legislatively funded initiatives.
  • Evaluate complex project proposals for feasibility and compliance.
  • Support development of program processes and reporting systems.
  • Coordinate across internal and external partners to ensure accurate documentation, accountability, and fulfillment of grant requirements.
  • Expected to be physically at the central workplace located at 550 Capitol St. NE in Salem, Oregon on Fridays.
  • Work at least six (6) workdays at the central workplace, including attendance at pre-scheduled in-person all-staff meetings.
  • May also be required to work at the central workplace on a more frequent basis with advance notice, as needed.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills
  • four years of experience coordinating or administering a program
  • Any combination of experience or education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.
  • Experience designing, developing, coordinating and administering governmental programs and/or utility incentives or grants programs.
  • Experience maintaining a database, capturing data, updating data, analyzing data, generating reports, and reporting out to external partners.
  • Experience interacting with a diverse community (including governmental agencies and tribes) and conducting outreach to diverse community/partner groups.
  • Collecting information from various stakeholders, interpreting, assembling the information, presenting compiled information, and reports to a diverse audience.
  • Experience explaining technical program requirements or processes to internal and external partners.
  • Preference may be given to those with the following experience: Experience working with electricity generation, storage, and transmission projects.
