About the role

  • Head of E-commerce driving direct-to-consumer strategy for blackcrows, an independent ski brand. Overseeing digital performance, operations, acquisition, and technology of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive blackcrows’ global DTC e-commerce strategy, aligned with brand positioning and international growth objectives.
  • Own overall digital business performance (revenue, conversion rate, AOV, retention, profitability).
  • Build and manage the commercial calendar (product launches, seasonal moments, activations) in close collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Creative/Product teams.
  • Ensure the balance between brand storytelling, product experience, and commercial performance across the digital channel.
  • Full ownership of the DTC P&L, including revenue growth, margin, and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to scale DTC while maintaining strong relationships with wholesale partners.
  • Oversee day-to-day e-commerce operations: product catalog, online merchandising, pricing consistency, and stock availability.
  • Ensure smooth execution of product launches, seasonal drops, and high-traffic moments.
  • Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure operational excellence and premium customer experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement of site performance, conversion, and user experience through data-driven optimization and testing.
  • Continuously improve the end-to-end digital customer journey, from discovery to post-purchase experience.
  • Define and lead the digital acquisition strategy across paid media, organic channels, partnerships, and community initiatives.
  • Supervise performance marketing initiatives with external partners.
  • Monitor and optimize key performance metrics including CAC, ROAS, LTV, retention, and cohort performance.
  • Identify new growth opportunities across markets and digital channels.
  • Own and evolve blackcrows’ digital ecosystem, with Shopify at its core.
  • Oversee CRM infrastructure, payments, analytics, OMS integrations, and third-party tools.
  • Work closely with external technical resources to define the digital roadmap, architecture, and priorities.
  • Act as the business owner translating commercial and customer needs into technical priorities.
  • Drive retention, repeat purchase, and customer lifetime value through best-in-class CRM and lifecycle strategies.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in digital commerce / e-commerce roles
  • Strong experience in DTC consumer brands, preferably in premium, outdoor, sports, or lifestyle industries
  • Proven experience scaling Shopify ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of digital acquisition, retention, loyalty, and performance marketing
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects across tech, marketing, and operations
  • Fluent in English and French.
