About the role

  • Behavior Technician providing one-on-one therapy for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. Implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA
  • Provide one-on-one therapy in home, clinic, school, or community settings
  • Collect accurate data on client progress
  • Assist clients in developing communication, social, daily living, and coping skills
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with supervisors, families, and team members
  • Participate in ongoing training and team meetings

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain patient, professional, and compassionate
  • Reliable transportation (if required for travel)
  • Ability to pass background check
  • RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)
