Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA
- Provide one-on-one therapy in home, clinic, school, or community settings
- Collect accurate data on client progress
- Assist clients in developing communication, social, daily living, and coping skills
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with supervisors, families, and team members
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain patient, professional, and compassionate
- Reliable transportation (if required for travel)
- Ability to pass background check
- RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)
