About the role

Technical Operations Manager overseeing BioCNG, CNG, and LNG station operations in Germany. Ensuring maintenance, compliance and safety of alternative mobility infrastructure.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for the safe operation, maintenance and repair of the BioCNG, CNG and LNG station portfolio in Germany, thereby actively contributing to the supply security of alternative mobility infrastructure.
You organize, monitor and document compliance with relevant regulations such as BetrSichV and GefStoffV, as well as technical standards and codes like DVGW, TRBS, TRGS and DIN VDE for gas and energy installations.
You manage external technical service providers, monitor service quality and schedules, and ensure optimal cost-effectiveness of station operations through active vendor management.
You oversee legally mandated inspection intervals, coordinate maintenance appointments and ensure structured reporting for audits.
You conduct safety briefings in accordance with BetrSichV §12, coordinate risk assessments and thereby actively strengthen occupational safety for employees and on-site teams.
You ensure emergency procedures are in place, respond in a structured manner to station operation incidents and secure technical availability in line with internal and statutory requirements.

Technical qualification: You hold a completed technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Engineering) or an equivalent qualification with experience in technical plant operations.
Experience in the plant and energy sector: You have professional experience supporting technical installations, ideally in gas infrastructure, station operations, energy supply or technical building services.
Standards & safety competence: You are familiar with technical regulations and legal frameworks such as BetrSichV, occupational health and safety law, and DVGW, TRBS, TRGS and DIN VDE standards.
Structured approach & problem-solving: You work in a structured way, keep an overview even with complex technical processes and make sound decisions in terms of operational safety and cost-efficiency.
Entrepreneurial mindset & organizational talent: You combine commercial awareness with a strong service orientation and take responsibility for managing service providers and optimizing processes.
Mobility & language skills: You are willing to travel within Germany, hold a class B driving license and communicate confidently in German (C1 level).
