About the role

  • Digital Marketing Manager responsible for SEO and client success in a local marketing agency. Driving ROI and managing local SEO initiatives for small-to-medium businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key, trusted contact for a portfolio of SMB clients
  • Strategically plan, manage, and communicate local SEO initiatives
  • Work closely with internal specialists, PPC managers, and web developers
  • Use Google Analytics, SEMrush, BrightLocal, Screaming Frog, and other core tools to track performance
  • Clearly present monthly success statistics, industry benchmarks, and comparative data
  • Grow client relationships through proactive communication and guidance

Requirements

  • 3+ years in an SEO-focused account management role, preferably working with SMBs.
  • Experience managing your own book of business and driving measurable ROI.
  • Proficient with Google Analytics, SEMrush, BrightLocal, Screaming Frog, pivot tables and similar tools.
  • Strong client communication and presentation skills (Zoom proficiency required).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, results-driven environment.
