About the role

  • Service Manager overseeing field labor, materials, and project performance in HVAC Services. Responsible for financial expectations, customer relationships, and safety management.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all field labor, materials, profit, loss, project performance, and safety
  • Manage all field labor, subcontractors, and vendors in collaboration with the Services business unit
  • Meet or exceed all financial expectations and budgets
  • Monitor cash position of business unit
  • Resolve dollar disputes between estimates and actual costs
  • Build and sustain customer relationships
  • Manage dispatch procedures and effective communications with field staff
  • Manage technician labor productivity improvements
  • Promote and accountable for all aspects of Safety and Risk Management
  • Assist Field Supervisor in regulating quality control on Service jobs
  • Maintain inventory and tool procurement for all service vehicles
  • Conduct project kick-off meetings and coordinate with Management

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in the service business
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects
  • Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
  • Ability to multitask
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
