About the role

  • Manager audit responsible for leading audit missions and developing client relationships within a dynamic team. Involved in strategic audit planning and resource allocation while ensuring compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of audit engagements in direct coordination with Statutory Auditors (Commissaires aux Comptes)
  • Define the audit strategy and ensure appropriate resource allocation across assignments
  • Oversee and guide all phases of engagements: planning, fieldwork, review, completion and reporting
  • Ensure the technical quality of work, methodological compliance and adherence to applicable standards
  • Review complex areas, resolve technical issues and validate the positions taken
  • Lead, engage and develop audit teams through coaching and performance evaluation
  • Act as a point of reference for engagement leaders and senior auditors
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships and contribute to higher-value client interactions
  • Participate in summary presentations, closing meetings and discussions with management
  • Contribute to business management and development: portfolio organization, workload forecasting, client retention and opportunity identification
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding and the skills development of team members
  • Propose improvements to methods, quality and the evolution of the firm’s audit offering

  • Several years of experience in a public accounting/audit firm
  • Knowledge of accounting and tax standards
  • Natural leadership, exemplary conduct, team-oriented and results-driven
