About the role

  • Head of Sales driving sales strategy and operations for BayWa r.e. across Frankfurt, Leipzig, and Munich. Leading teams to advance renewable energy markets and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the sales organization for direct marketing, short-term PPAs, and ancillary services and flexibility marketing
  • Product development and product management in the energy transition sector
  • Driving sales and growth in relevant business areas
  • Responsible for marketing activities and initiatives for customer retention and acquisition
  • Strengthening collaboration with sister companies
  • Developing business plans for operational activities with strategic measures

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the energy industry, particularly in sales
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a sales organization within the energy sector
  • Established network within the energy industry
  • Degree in Business Administration, Energy Management, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Team player with strong communication and presentation skills in German and English
