Responsibilities
Ensure a professional and warm welcome for arriving guests.
Perform check-ins & check-outs.
Manage the telephone switchboard and handle various administrative tasks.
Prepare end-of-day reports, verify billing and the following day’s reservations.
Ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel premises during the night; perform patrols if necessary.
Handle any complaints and follow up with the relevant departments.
Act independently and professionally in case of emergencies (technical issues).
Inform and advise guests about cultural and tourist activities and provide restaurant recommendations.
Coordinate with other hotel departments and relay information to the next shift.
Present and upsell all services offered by the hotel.
Set up breakfast according to Maison Boissière procedures.
Proactively suggest ideas to enhance the guest experience.
Maintain an impeccable and discreet level of service.
Oversee the upkeep of the building and common areas in liaison with the Housekeeping teams (Executive Housekeeper, room attendants).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality (Bac +3) or at least 3 years of significant experience in front desk/reception or Night Audit.
Cash handling and control of receipts.
Comfortable with PMS software and office tools.
Rigour, attention to detail and excellent ability to analyze financial discrepancies.
Full autonomy, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
Customer service orientation and the ability to handle situations calmly and professionally.
Native/fluent French and professional English required (B2 level).
Mandatory SSI training (fire safety system training).
