About the role

  • IT Support for Gastronomy and Kassensysteme in 1st & 2nd Level Support at Gewinnblick GmbH. Engaging with customers to ensure their digital systems run reliably and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Customer support & troubleshooting
  • Telephone and written support for our gastronomy customers
  • Analyze, diagnose and independently resolve technical inquiries
  • Assist with usage and configuration questions (POS, online reservation & ordering systems, payment, digital tools)
  • Maintain structured documentation in the ticketing system
  • Set up, test and configure POS systems as well as hardware and software
  • Manage interfaces (payment, accounting, online ordering systems, kitchen workflows)
  • Troubleshoot the interaction of network, peripherals and cloud applications
  • Provide application support for digital workflows
  • Offer best-practice recommendations for optimal use of our solutions
  • Work closely with technical teams, project management and sales
  • Rotating on-call duty from 17:00–22:00 and on weekends & public holidays with additional compensation

Requirements

  • Experience in the hospitality industry or a technical education in IT (e.g., IT specialist, IT support, system integration)
  • Basic technical understanding — ideally in POS systems, networking or cloud solutions
  • Strong willingness to learn and interest in digital processes
  • Friendly, reliable communication — also under stressful situations
  • Solution-oriented working style and self-responsibility
  • Team spirit and enjoyment of customer contact
  • Willingness to perform occasional field work or customer training
