About the role

  • Community Manager for BARNES, enhancing its digital presence and image in luxury real estate. Responsible for social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • As part of strengthening its digital presence and premium image, BARNES is recruiting a Community Manager passionate about luxury and able to embody the brand’s elegance and exclusivity internationally.
  • Social media strategy & management (organic + paid): Define and deploy the global international social media strategy; manage and animate the main accounts: Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube; oversee local accounts by vertical.
  • Content creation & production: Design, write and publish high-end editorial and visual content (photos, videos, reels, stories, carousels); highlight exclusive properties, the BARNES Art of Living, prestigious destinations and complementary services; manage shoots and collaborate with photographers, videographers, agents and influencers to secure exclusive visuals; perform video editing and photo retouching.
  • Community animation & engagement: Moderate comments and private messages; drive engagement, audience growth and brand awareness; participate in BARNES events (trade shows, private evenings, launches) to produce live content.
  • Influencer & ambassador partnerships: Identify, negotiate and manage partnerships with influencers and ambassadors (micro to macro) aligned with BARNES values (discreet luxury, design, gastronomy, art, travel…); brief, monitor deliverables, maintain ongoing relationships and measure performance (ROI).
  • Management & optimization: Develop the monthly editorial calendar (multilingual and culturally adapted); track and analyze KPIs (engagement, growth, reach, impressions, ROI); conduct competitive monitoring (Sotheby’s, Christie’s, Knight Frank…) and follow luxury/digital trends; propose regular optimization initiatives.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in communications, digital marketing, business school or equivalent training.
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in community management and managing influencer partnerships, ideally acquired in the luxury sector (high-end real estate, hospitality, fashion, jewelry, yachting, etc.) or within a luxury-specialized agency.
  • Excellent command of social media platforms, with particular expertise on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
  • Strong writing skills, with a very good level of French and fluent English, both written and spoken, essential for content creation and managing international collaborations and negotiations.
  • Highly developed aesthetic sense, a strong premium visual culture and a proven ability to craft narratives and content aligned with luxury storytelling codes.
  • Comfortable with technical content production tools, notably video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro), photo retouching (Lightroom, Photoshop) and social media management tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later, etc.).
  • Creative, autonomous and rigorous; responsive, with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, and proactive in proposing ideas on a daily basis.
  • Demonstrated strong sensitivity to and genuine appetite for the world of discreet luxury and the Art of Living.
