Responsibilities

• Drive training initiatives from idea to implementation, foster a culture of growth and accountability, and keep learning fun, accessible, and effective.
• Help teams thrive in a fast-paced environment while modeling expert communication and presentation skills.
• Design and deliver dynamic training experiences that empower our staff to shine.
• Champion the ASPCA’s Learning Management System, collaborate with leadership to shape career development pathways, and ensure every team member has the opportunity to do their best work.
• Lead training initiatives from inception to implementation and drive change with expert project leadership skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
• Minimum five years’ experience training staff in a professional environment required
• Minimum five years’ experience presenting to an in-person audience in a group/workshop setting required; ability to be proficient in presenting virtually also required
• Minimum three years' experience developing and designing professional onboarding or training materials required
• Demonstrated experience of applying instructional design methodologies required
• Experience in developing e-learning experiences using platforms such as Articulate or Rise required
• Demonstrated experience training in a fast-paced human or veterinary medicine environment strongly preferred
• A combination of experience in the following areas strongly preferred: train the trainer; consulting; organizational design; program management; systems design and implementation; mentoring, coaching and talent management; leadership/staff development and/or career pathing
• Project management skills and experience strongly preferred
• Experience in change leadership strongly preferred
• Experience managing or mentoring staff required
