About the role

  • Sales Development Representative responsible for generating qualified appointments in the IT sector. Working with marketing and sales to improve messaging and outreach strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for generating qualified initial meetings for Account Executives
  • Focus on outbound activities in the IT sector across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
  • Identifying suitable companies, prioritizing accounts and conducting targeted research
  • Engaging relevant contacts by phone, LinkedIn and email
  • Scheduling qualified initial meetings and handing them over fully prepared
  • Nurturing prospects across multiple touchpoints and documenting interactions in the CRM
  • Providing practical feedback and testing new outreach approaches

Requirements

  • Several years of experience as an SDR or BDR in a B2B environment, ideally in an IT or software context
  • Proven track record of booking meetings for complex or technical solutions
  • Strong cold-calling skills and experience engaging decision-makers
  • Understanding of typical IT roles and decision-making structures (e.g., IT management, CIO, CISO)
  • Experience with CRM systems and ideally with sequencing or outreach tools
  • High self-motivation, openness to new approaches and a proactive attitude
  • Very good German skills and good English skills for internal collaboration
