About the role

  • Senior Technology Manager overseeing Command Center Incident Management at Bank of America. Responsible for operational excellence in detecting and preventing technology incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Shapes and leads the people, processes, and tools for incident management.
  • Develops high-performing incident responders and refines operational processes.
  • Coordinates response to high-priority incidents during AMRS shift.
  • Works with Senior Executives to communicate technology incident information.
  • Leads response and execution of support to ensure minimal disruption.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of experience running IT Operations, Application Production Support or Technology Command Centers.
  • Strong experience in Incident and Major Incident Management.
  • 2+ years in a leadership or management role including leading global teams.
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure (Network, Compute, Storage, Virtualization, Database, etc.) and application infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Splunk, Netcool, etc.).
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and Incident and Problem management frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
