About the role
- Junior Analyst responsible for analyzing PJ operations and managing guarantees at Banco Semear. Engaging with various departments to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze new corporate (PJ) transactions for the adequacy, sufficiency and documentation of the guarantees provided, prior to formalization or fund disbursement.
- Register and control guarantees linked to corporate transactions, including receivables, real estate, machinery, equipment and vehicles.
- Perform financial reconciliations of funds associated with guarantees, identifying amounts that must remain blocked and amounts that can be released to the client.
- Monitor and update guarantee controls for the working capital, guarantee-account, receivables advance and structured transactions portfolios.
- Support the analysis of measurement reports and financial controls for construction projects tied to structured transactions and business plans.
- Carry out support activities for extrajudicial (out-of-court) collections, monitoring negotiations, payments and regularizations related to guarantees.
- Update control spreadsheets, dashboards and management reports, ensuring consistency and integrity of information.
- Support improvements to routines, internal controls and operational processes within the guarantees and processing area.
- Interact with credit, risk, legal and back-office teams to ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal policies and Central Bank regulations.
Requirements
- University degree completed or in progress in Administration, Economics, Accounting, Production Engineering or related fields.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of corporate credit operations and banking products (working capital, guarantee account, receivables advances).
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data cross-referencing).
- Basic knowledge of Power BI or other BI tools (plus).
- Ability to read and interpret financial reports and construction progress measurements.
- Basic knowledge of financial calculations — interest, CDI (interbank deposit rate), default interest and fines, balance updates and maturity tracking.
- Previous experience in banking operations, guarantees, extrajudicial collection or financial reconciliation is desirable.
