Responsibilities
Advising and supporting managers on employment law, disciplinary and organizational matters
Supporting complaint and disciplinary procedures
Ensuring compliance with employment law requirements as well as internal policies and ethical standards
Implementing new regional and global HR policies and harmonizing them with existing processes
Managing goal-setting and performance management processes at the site
Supporting management with organizational changes and their communication
Assessing talent risks and contributing to succession and development plans
Promoting Ball corporate culture and acting as a culture ambassador
Collaborating with local educational institutions and communities (e.g., recruiting initiatives)
Responsible for HR administration, e.g.: absence management, contract creation and amendments, offer and confirmation letters
Working with employee representatives and trade unions
Participating in negotiations
Handling union-related matters and grievances
Requirements
Several years of experience in an HR Business Partner or comparable role
Strong communication skills at all organizational levels and a service- and solution-oriented working approach
Solid knowledge of employment law
Experience in a unionized environment
Experience in an international manufacturing, industrial, or consumer goods company is an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with SAP SuccessFactors or a comparable HR system
Mandatory: Negotiation-level (business fluent) German and English, both written and spoken
