About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical and performance management of the Iceni BESS (300 MW / 600 MWh)
- Maximise asset value through strong operational governance and data-driven performance assurance
- Manage the full-wrap LTSA with Tesla
- Prepare the asset for COD and ensure a smooth transition into steady-state operations
- Lead daily asset monitoring via Tesla platforms
- Validate technical KPIs against contractual definitions
- Detect and quantify performance deviations or revenue leakage
- Develop and maintain owner-side dashboards and automated alerts
- Support pre-COD commissioning, acceptance testing, and operational governance processes
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or equivalent)
- 8–12 years’ experience in technical asset management across BESS, wind, or solar portfolios
- Proven track record managing or assuring OEM full-wrap or LTSA contracts
- Strong analytical skills and experience with Tesla platforms , historian systems, and API-based data flows
- Understanding of UK Grid Code requirements, ESO processes, and technical performance frameworks
- Effective communication and stakeholder management across technical, commercial, and regulatory domains
