About the role

  • Sr. Advisor providing advanced technical support for downstream refining operations across assigned districts in the US. Collaborating with teams to ensure compliance and operational integrity while influencing continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support across assigned districts, including Canada, the East Coast, and Great Lakes regions
  • Serve as a field subject matter expert (SME) for process technologies and applications
  • Collaborate closely with Service Delivery, Sales, and Technology teams to design technical job programs
  • Provide on‑demand technical support for process applications
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Conduct annual technical audits and health checks for assigned accounts to ensure compliance
  • Support field incident reviews and participate in investigations
  • Lead special projects, product line initiatives, and other responsibilities assigned by the business

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Chemical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 15+ years of downstream refining experience , including 10+ years in refining process applications
  • Strong knowledge of crude process units, related chemical technologies, digital tools, and applicable industry standards
  • 10+ years of field, operations, or application support experience within refining process technologies
  • Capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within multi‑disciplinary teams
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to audiences at all experience levels, both verbally and in writing
  • Willing to travel up to 50% based on customer and operational needs
  • Provide technical mentorship and support for developing team members
  • Available for on‑call support outside of normal business hours
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead, plan, coordinate, and deliver projects and programs successfully
