About the role
- Waterfront Facility Manager leading operations and maintenance of waterfront facilities at HM Naval Base Clyde, ensuring safe and efficient operations for Royal Navy vessels.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the operational availability of waterfront jetties, delivering berthing and engineering support services to the customer
- Maximise utilisation and efficiency of departmental resources, supporting the Head of Infrastructure Operations
- Deliver tasks to agreed cost, time and quality requirements
- Motivate and develop waterfront staff to meet objectives and uphold safety standards
- Ensure suitably qualified and experienced personnel, and the right equipment, are in place in line with Clyde Safety Management Arrangements
Requirements
- Fully conversant with waterfront business and operations
- Competent and experienced in managing waterfront procedures and processes
- Proven line management experience
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment
- Maintenance management expertise
- Degree in an engineering discipline (or equivalent)
- ILM Level 5 (or equivalent leadership qualification)
- Security Check (SC) clearance required for the role.
