About the role

  • 1st Level Support Specialist in IT handling customer inquiries and providing solutions for digital processes. A role focused on improving customer efficiency in waste management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Handling customer inquiries via telephone, email and the ticketing system
  • Analyzing and reproducing reported issues in the software
  • Communicating with product management, development and other related departments
  • Developing solutions and assisting customers with technical and domain-related questions
  • Documenting support cases and solutions in the ticketing system
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of support processes and product quality
  • Participating in product tests or feedback sessions to help advance the software

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., Fachinformatiker, IT-Systemkaufmann/-frau) or a comparable qualification is an advantage
  • Experience in customer support or technical support, ideally in a software environment
  • Technical understanding of software architectures and IT infrastructures
  • Strong communication skills, empathy and a service-oriented attitude
  • Team player with a willingness to cooperate across departments
  • Good German language skills, both written and spoken; English skills are a plus
