About the role

  • Business Support Analyst at Avnet designing reports and analyzing business issues to support decision-making. Collaborating on data analysis and report development for various internal customer groups.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and prepares reports and summaries for statistical analysis.
  • Analyzes business issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
  • Collects, compiles and analyzes data from various databases and performs analysis for internal customer groups.
  • Develops reports providing financial related information needed to make informed business decisions.
  • Communicates data in comprehensible ways.
  • Evaluates information from multiple sources and clearly indicates quality of final analysis.
  • Develops reports and other tools to deliver internal company information enabling business users to make informed decisions.
  • Establishes standards and procedures for a variety of processes, conducting business analysis resulting in detailed creation and maintenance of business process mapping, requirements and training materials documentation.

Requirements

  • Typically less than 2 years with bachelor's or equivalent.
  • Foundational knowledge of specialized disciplines, industry practices and standards, acquired via academic instruction and/or relevant work experience of substantially the same level.
