About the role
- Bar Supervisor at Brewgate ensuring optimal guest service and operational standards. Collaborating with team members to maintain high-quality service in a fast-paced airport environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent guest service and actively work in the outlet, preferably at the bar, but support other areas as needed
- Ensure compliance with established concept standards / SOPs (quality, hygiene, service, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area as well as guest seating areas
- Ensure smooth operations in a high-volume, high-traffic environment
- Monitor inventory and ensure adequate stock levels (place supply orders with the central warehouse)
- Participate in inventory counts
- Lead and coach junior staff in accordance with leadership standards
- Promote additional sales (up- and cross-selling)
- Ensure employees present a professional appearance in line with company standards
- Optimize outlet processes with a focus on guest satisfaction, staff motivation and operating costs
- Work closely and coordinate with the responsible Operations Manager
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in (chain) hospitality/foodservice, preferably at the bar or as a barista
- Independent, self-driven work style with attention to all aspects of the outlet
- Hands-on mentality
- High self-motivation to help further develop our “Brewgate” concept
- Confident communication with people of different nationalities
- Very good German, at least good English; additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (working hours between 05:00–23:00), as well as weekends and public holidays
