About the role

Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial processes and ensure timely, accurate reporting to regional and group stakeholders.
- Review statutory reports and taxes, act as the main contact for auditors.
- Lead the monthly closing process and ensure transparent reporting.
- Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts, aligning with regional and group requirements.
- Deliver accurate reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage invoicing and reporting, liaise with global support centers.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies and local regulations.
- Optimize cash flow and manage tax compliance in collaboration with global tax teams.
- Work closely with local and regional managers, business lines, and corporate functions.
- Support statutory, internal, and tax audits; participate in management reviews and ad-hoc analyses.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- 10+ years of experience in finance, including 5+ years in a multinational environment
- Full-scope financial expertise: accounting, controlling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, FP&A, cash flow
- Strong analytical and communication skills, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage stress effectively in a dynamic multinational work environment
- Deep knowledge of Hungarian accounting & taxation principles and IFRS standards
- Fluent in Hungarian and English
