Responsibilities
Own the brand’s TikTok strategy and daily execution, ensuring content is engaging, on-brand, and culturally relevant
Create original, trend-forward video content that educates, entertains, and builds brand love
Participate in trends in a way that feels fresh, funny, and true to the brand
Invent new formats and recurring content series that drive engagement and tell the product story
Film content at events, tutorials, and behind-the-scenes moments using iPhone or handheld camera setups
Edit videos for TikTok, YouTube, PDP pages, and performance ads
Actively engage on TikTok with other creators in a way that is funny, kind, relatable, and attention-grabbing
Identify and collaborate with TikTok creators to amplify brand reach
Partner with marketing, product, and the founder to ensure content aligns with strategic goals, brand voice, and business objectives
Analyze performance data to iterate quickly, optimize content, and test new ideas
Requirements
8+ years of experience creating social content for brands, with a proven track record of driving engagement and growth
Deep understanding of TikTok culture, trends, humor, and timing, with strong instincts for what feels native versus forced
Hands-on experience filming and editing video content (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)
Experience collaborating with executives, founders, or high-profile leaders, with exceptional emotional intelligence and professionalism
Passion for haircare and beauty (professional experience in beauty is a plus, not a requirement)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to translate cultural insights into actionable content strategy.
