About the role
- Project Task Manager collaborating with a team on environmental site evaluation and remediation projects. Managing project budgets, safety adherence, and technical reporting in a full-time capacity.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a dynamic and growing team to support projects through all phases of the site evaluation and remediation life cycle
- Contribute to environmental investigation, remediation, and technical reporting
- Drive project remediation and characterization
- Manage project budgets
- Direct field staff in data collection
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders
- Support the development of conceptual site models
- Write and review technical reports
- Help organize work schedules with Arcadis staff and subcontractors
- Produce cost estimates, forecast project spend, and track key performance indices
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in the environmental industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related field
- Previous experience with environmental sampling, technical report writing and data evaluation
- Strong focus on health and safety, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity state environmental regulations
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (with an annual 8-hour refresher, if applicable)
