About the role

  • Facility Manager ensuring proper operation of technical systems and buildings. Leading facility management team and overseeing maintenance, safety, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the proper operation of all buildings, technical systems and utilities, including maintenance, repairs and legally required inspections
  • Managing and supervising external service providers as well as administering maintenance contracts, permits and safety-related documentation
  • Responsible for occupational safety, environmental protection and fire safety, and for ensuring compliance with all relevant legal requirements, statutory accident-prevention regulations (UVV) and ISO standards
  • Designated officer for hazardous substances, waste, fire protection and radiation protection
  • Energy, cost and budget management, including optimization of energy supply, consumption analysis and invoice verification
  • Leading and organizing the facility management team, including workforce planning, employee training, project work and cross-departmental collaboration

Requirements

  • University degree in a technical field or completed technical vocational training with further qualification as a technician in electrical engineering, plus relevant professional experience
  • Business administration knowledge
  • Strong service orientation, commitment and excellent communication skills
