About the role

  • Mitarbeiter (m/w/d) im zentralen Einkauf bei ALS Germany in Altenberge. Unterstützung in verschiedenen Einkaufsbereichen und Kommunikation mit Kunden und Lieferanten.

Responsibilities

  • Act as administrator for the operational area of the internal ALS ordering platform ("WPS"), following instructions
  • Create and maintain supplier and user guides
  • Handle general tasks in fleet management
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers
  • Support central, group-wide and decentralized site-specific procurement
  • Support international procurement processes
  • Support tender processes

Requirements

  • Commercial vocational training (e.g., industrial clerk, wholesale and foreign trade clerk) or equivalent professional experience/qualifications
  • Experience in procurement is an advantage
  • High degree of self-organization and a structured, conscientious working style
  • Ability to assertively address the requirements of the role while maintaining a service-oriented approach
  • Advanced IT skills (especially Microsoft Excel and industry-specific software)
  • Proficient German language skills for social and professional use (at least C1 level, spoken and written)
  • Good English skills for international communication within the group
