Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth execution and proper handling of all procurement processes, taking into account company objectives, particularly timely delivery.
Material planning and scheduling of raw materials and purchased parts for the Lawo Group.
Obtaining and negotiating quotes with suppliers and service providers.
Issuing and monitoring purchase orders and framework/blanket orders.
Reviewing and processing order confirmations.
Tracking delivery schedules and order status to ensure our material planning.
Acting as a communication interface with internal departments.
Managing and developing supplier relationships.
Preparing key performance indicators and statistics.
Continuously optimizing procurement processes.
Cost optimization as well as ensuring delivery capability and supplier availability.
Use and maintenance of our ABAS ERP system.
Requirements
Completed degree with a focus on procurement (e.g., business administration, certified commercial specialist).
Several years of professional experience in a comparable position within a manufacturing company.
Experience in purchasing electronic components is an advantage.
Strong initiative, sense of responsibility and ability to execute.
Good communication skills, confident presence and assertiveness.
Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style.
Strong team orientation and business-minded thinking.
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
