About the role

  • HR Manager responsible for optimizing HR processes and developing strategies at WESSLING Consulting Engineering. Involvement in employee lifecycle and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize all HR processes across the employee lifecycle
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and processes — including initiatives to increase employee retention and to measure and improve employee satisfaction
  • Report on and analyze HR metrics
  • Advise and support managers on employment law, organizational and people-strategy matters
  • Ensure compliance with employment law requirements and internal policies
  • Implement talent development and training programs
  • Prospectively assume leadership of the HR department

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in HR management, ideally in a medium-sized company
  • Strong expertise in employment law and HR-relevant processes
  • Excellent communication skills, structured and solution-oriented working style, and confident presence at all hierarchical levels
  • Experience with current HR systems and innovative HR methods
  • Openness to new approaches and a drive to further develop yourself and your area of responsibility
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
