Events Manager for Alpega's Digital Transport Platform in Barcelona, organizing events to connect shippers and carriers. Collaborating with marketing and sales teams for cross-functional success.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic input into the overall events calendar and recommend new opportunities.
Collaboratively align on the events calendar with sales & marketing stakeholders to ensure 12 months of advance visibility of committed events.
Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships for each event.
Commission sponsorships with event organizers, select booth locations, align on production needs, pre-empt specific needs well in advance, and ensure contracts, statements of work, purchase orders, and event budgets are kept up to date and accurate.
Develop and oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of events (virtual and in-person) targeting both shipper and carrier audiences, ensuring full visibility and cross-functional integration.
Define event objectives and ensure sales & marketing align on “what looks good”.
Ensure strong branding and messaging consistency across all event materials and touchpoints, coordinating with Growth & Sales on the event theme and with C&C for the design look and feel.
Track KPIs and deliver post-event analysis and reporting hand in hand with a dedicated RevOps event analyst.
Ensure seamless logistics and an excellent attendee experience through pre-event briefings, on-site management, and post-event retrospectives.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in event management
Proven experience managing B2B events across Europe
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Strong communication and team collaboration capabilities
Fluent in English; Spanish is a must
Based in Barcelona
Experience working for a tech or SaaS company is ideal (but not mandatory)
