About the role
- Event Support Technician assisting client event team with setup and breakdown of event spaces. Performing custodial duties and ensuring safety protocols are followed at events.
Responsibilities
- Support the client event team with the set up and break down of event spaces
- Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, & tables
- Straighten areas, such as lobbies, conference rooms
- Pick up trash, recycling, and compost bins and transport to proper disposal areas
- Light Vacuuming, Dusting, Restocking supplies
- Clean drop in desktops, assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms & break rooms, damp mop floors, restroom cleaning, glass cleaning, restock and organize supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas, clean elevators, spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets, and dust open common spaces
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Stops at risk behavior of others and self
- Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Present a professional appearance and conduct. Understand reporting systems, and of the environment.
Requirements
- Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Required to have a valid driver’s license
- 1 year of custodial experience preferred
- Must be able to read and write in English. Bilingual preferred, not required.
