About the role

Founders Associate in operations at impact startup Veli enhancing home safety using AI for household emergency detection. Collaborating on fundraising and customer success initiatives.

Responsibilities

As Founder's Associate, Operations you will work closely with Max (COO) in Munich on core operations topics at Veli within our roughly 20-person team
Over the next 6 months you will help bring about 1,000 households live and simultaneously drive the financing round, engaging directly with customers and investors
You will support our fundraising from the very beginning, including investor research, pipeline management and the data room, as well as preparing meetings and handling follow-ups
You will manage onboarding projects for new assisted-living customers together with our integration team and develop scalable standard processes from these projects
You will further develop our customer success structures and ensure customer feedback is systematically translated into clear requirements for Product and Operations
You will design processes and structures and take on selected strategic leverage projects, for example KPI setup, new partner models or rollout concepts
You will take on parts of our recruiting process and ensure fast, clean workflows and a positive candidate experience

You have at least one year of relevant professional experience
You can demonstrate projects that you have structured, managed and successfully delivered, ideally in a startup environment, in Operations, Project Management or Customer Success
You work in a highly structured way, prioritize effectively and have strong execution skills
You have a good sense for people and relationships, build trust and remain reliable and solution-oriented even in difficult situations — internally with the team, as well as with candidates and customers
You think analytically, have a strong numerical understanding and are comfortable with KPIs, budget planning, forecasts and spreadsheets
You communicate confidently and clearly in German at least at C1 level, as you will work directly with customers, partners and investors
You are based in Munich, prefer to be in the office most of the time, and are willing to travel to customers or investors roughly five days per month

Direct collaboration with the founding team and real ownership of core operations and strategy topics, with visible impact on customer growth and fundraising in the coming months
