About the role

  • IT Engineer II supporting MDM expertise, IT operations and employee onboarding/offboarding at AllTrails. Manage organizational security and productivity initiatives while automating repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as our in-house MDM expert
  • Own lifecycle and asset management and streamline equipment policies across the company
  • Partner with people team in ensuring employees have a smooth onboarding and offboarding experience
  • Provide ad-hoc IT Support to all of our employees in a primarily Mac based environment
  • Office Network updates, LAN, etc
  • Provide audio and visual support in office conference rooms
  • Support organizational security and productivity initiatives
  • Vendor relationship management
  • Automating repetitive tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
  • Strong hands on experience with MDM (e.g., Kandji, JAMF, Jumpcloud) - managing both Mac and Windows
  • Good working knowledge of: IDP Solutions (e.g., Okta), Asset Management tools, Zoom, Slack, Atlassian, Google Workspace
  • Experience leading and managing IT projects autonomously
  • Evangelizing IT best practices throughout organizations
  • Willing to work 1 day a week at our HQ in San Francisco
  • Cross functional team player with a track record of building positive relationships with peers and others within your company
  • Ability to deal with some amount of ambiguity and a need for little to no guidance
