About the role

  • Senior People & Culture Business Partner supporting organizational and people engagement needs at the Allen Institute. Partnering with leadership and HR teams for HR consultations and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • successfully establish and maintain professional, trusted relationships, strong customer focus and work effectively with leaders, managers and employees
  • be a champion of the Allen Institute Mission and contribute to our Values-based culture
  • apply qualitative and quantitative data and a partnering approach with HR colleagues and senior leadership to recommend solutions
  • coach managers on effective leadership strategies including tactical HR processes
  • serve as a skilled facilitator of critical conversations
  • apply expertise in Allen Institute guidelines, policies and procedures; advise managers and employees
  • ensure projects are effectively prioritized, scoped and successfully delivered

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree plus 5+ years in progressively responsible Human Resources roles, holding Generalist experience
  • Knowledge of human resources laws and processes
  • Human Resources information system experience
