About the role
- IBM MQ Administrator contributing to the reliability and security of critical banking messaging. Joining Middleware team to handle complex incidents and evolution projects in international context.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure and maintain IBM MQ environments (versions 8, 9, 10)
- Manage queues, channels, clusters and security (SSL/TLS, certificates)
- Provide Level 3 support and resolve critical incidents
- Automate tasks using scripting (Shell, Python) and tools such as Ansible
- Monitor environments (QPASA, MQExplorer, Prometheus/Grafana)
- Participate in evolution, migration and DevOps integration projects (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
- Write technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to N1/N2 teams
- Participate in 24/7 on-call duty
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as an IBM MQ administrator
- Proficiency in the following technologies:
- IBM MQ (installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting)
- Systems: Linux/Unix, Windows, z/OS
- Security: SSL/TLS, certificate management
- Scripting: Shell, Python, Ansible
- Monitoring: QPASA, MQExplorer, BMC Patrol
- Understanding of message-oriented architectures and protocols
- Basic DevOps and cloud knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
