About the role

  • Administrator, Project supporting daily activities of the job site at Aecon. Responsible for tracking attendance, handling invoices, and coordinating job packages.

Responsibilities

  • Learn, interpret, and apply organizational policies, rules, and regulations
  • Track, record and report attendance of all site personnel, board allowance and vehicle allowance
  • Handle invoices, distribute to appropriate departments for approval
  • Establish accounts with local suppliers for miscellaneous items
  • Assist with the creation and submission of project billing
  • Coordinate job packages including locates, permits, materials
  • Ensure and assist in the completion of accident reports
  • Greet all visitors positively
  • Maintain an organized filing system on site
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in administration; construction experience is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preparation and proofreading of documents)
  • SAP knowledge is an asset
  • Ability to show discretion with confidential and/or personal information
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines with poise and confidence
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Professional interaction with all levels of staff within the organization
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
