About the role

  • Junior Business Development Representative in Barcelona engaging potential clients across EMEA to enable digital growth. Identifying business opportunities and aligning them with appropriate digital marketing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate and qualify sales opportunities through phone calls, emails, and CRM activity
  • Reach daily and weekly targets in line with KPIs and sales goals
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of potential customers and identify high-potential accounts
  • Educate businesses on available marketing and cloud-based solutions
  • Conduct outbound outreach to C-level decision-makers to understand business needs
  • Align prospects’ challenges with relevant digital solutions using a consultative approach
  • Accurately maintain client information in Salesforce and track the full sales cycle
  • Contribute to team goals and actively support a collaborative team environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • C2 / C1 proficiency in German
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Previous experience in B2B sales, outbound prospecting, or business development (preferably in tech or digital environments)
  • Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to influence decision-makers
  • Good understanding of IT or cloud-based solutions (knowledge of Google Cloud Platform is a plus)
  • Motivated, proactive, and goal-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, phone-based sales environment
  • Solid computer skills and familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce
  • 1+ year experience in outbound sales or tech industry (not mandatory)
  • Experience with cold calling and high-volume outreach (not mandatory)
  • Previous use of Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms (not mandatory)
  • Strong ability to identify key stakeholders within client organizations (not mandatory)
  • Understanding of the European digital market and sales cycles (not mandatory)
